CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

"Zo’la's approach has a very natural, fluid feel. She has a spiritual, loving demeanor that translates into her teaching. The choreography is interesting, and well-thought out. She smiles as she teaches and dances, and you can’t help but feel good dancing along with her! The class is fast-paced, full of beautiful gestures, energetic movements, primal dance spirit and authentic dance movement from dance genres around the world! A pleasure and a necessity to take her classes."

— Stasy Radway

"Once I woke up with a kink in my shoulder and halfway through the class I noticed it was gone — for good! Zo'la's positive energy definitely carries the whole group in a way that is fun for beginners and regulars alike."

— Bettina Roth

“Zo’la's classes will leave you high on love and energy and wanting more! Despite having previous experience in Latin-dance I found Zo'la's class to be innovative, instructive and very fun. She merges a diverse range of styles, from samba, salsa, and afro-brazilian rhythms in a way that caters to all levels. In addition she leaves time for free dance in which students take the steps they’ve learned, feel them in their own body at their own pace, and then truly begin to make them their own! This was by far my favorite part- it allowed me to really absorb the dynamic energy of Zo'la and the class and embrace Latin-dancing in a whole new way!”

— Elizabeth Husserl

Classes draw from world dance traditions including: Brazilian Samba & sacred Afro-Brazilian movement, Persian, Middle Eastern, Spanish Flamenco, Congolese, Rajasthani Kalbelyia (Indian Gypsy), & Odissi (Indian Temple Dance). These dances are empowering, healing, passionate and full of life.

BODY : MIND : HEART : SPIRIT

We begin with a brief warm-up on the floor which includes stretching & conditioning. Movements are clearly broken down in easy to follow combinations. Throughout the class, different levels are offered so people can dance at their own pace. Breathe, relax & have fun while your body, heart & soul fly.
