Bridging dance and song across cultures to invoke a sense of the sacred, Zo'la specializes in ethnic dances from the gypsy trail, India, Brazil, Spain, the Middle East & the Silk Road combined with original material. These dances create portals into magical realities, other worlds and ancient times, invoking forgotten dreams and opening doorways to other worlds. Using dance, song, fire, sword balancing & ritual to bridge healing practices and dream-like choreography, she has performed in New York, California, Italy and India both as a soloist and with other accomplished artists.
